Panche baja

Panche baja for weddings, engagements and receptions in Kathmandu and across Nepal. Book with your venue in one place.

Panche baja is a traditional Nepali ensemble that typically includes sarangi, madal, dholak, harmonium and flute, and it provides rhythmic and melodic support during all stages of a wedding ceremony. The service usually covers the pre‑wedding rituals, the main ceremony and sometimes the post‑ceremony celebrations, with musicians adapting to the requested songs and the wedding theme. When choosing a panche baja group, families should check the musicians’ experience, the quality of instruments, their familiarity with wedding music, and the sound system setup. Families can compare different providers and book their preferred panche baja through Sajilo for a smooth and reliable arrangement.
